FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES // mexican restaurants
SALSA SUNDAY, MARGARITA MONDAY, TACO TUESDAY, WE-WANT-MEXICAN-FOOD WEDNESDAY, THINKING-ABOUT-MEXICAN-FOOD THURSDAY, FAJITA FRIDAY, & SOPAIPILLA SATURDAY
Really, when is it NOT a good idea to eat Mexican food? That’s what I thought! Coming up with my FIVE FAVORITES for this week was so easy. Mexican food is definitely at the top of my list when it comes to favorite foods. Give me all the Cheese Dip & Margarita’s!
These are some of my FIVE FAVORITE Mexican restaurants in Hot Springs:
MI PUEBLITO- 3238 Airport Road, Pearcy- There are two in Hot Springs, but my favorite is the one at 3238 Airport Road, Pearcy, AR 71964. Their cheese dip is the bomb.com and probably my favorite! The food is always fast and the customer service is excellent! As locals, we are always greeted with an IT’S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN! It’s like the Cheers of Mexican Restaurants!
DON JUAN’S- 1538 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs- Don Juan’s might be the first Mexican Restaurant that I really fell in love with. My friends and I frequented there during high school and college. They have amazing Sangria and Margaritas and the food is superb. They have lots of tv’s around so it’s a great spot if you want to watch the game while you enjoy your food!
JOSES- 5361 Central Avenue, Hot Springs- Jose’s is a wildly popular Mexican Restaurant here in Hot Springs. On weekends (and most week nights) their parking lot is FULL. It’s a fun place to have a birthday party or hang out at the bar! Also note that they are closed on Sundays, so if you are visiting be sure to go see them Monday through Saturday! They have two locations & either one is great!
LA HACIENDA- 3836 Central Avenue, Hot Springs- La Hacienda has been in Hot Springs as long as I can remember and I have always remembered people RAVING about it. Everything I have ever tried there is fantastic! You definitely have to try the Churro’s for desert. SO GOOD!
TACO MAMA- 1209 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs- Taco Mama is a must visit if you are looking for quality Mexican Food. It feels like it was cooked with just a little extra love. What’s even better is that they also serve BRUNCH on Saturdays. Who doesn’t love a good Brunch? Also, if you are on a diet or if you have certain dietary restrictions, they are the best at accommodating!
I hope during your time in Hot Springs that you are able to visit one of these restaurants. If you do, let me know what you thought! Don’t see your favorite on the list? Let me know your favorite and what you order!
